Money makeovers and getting lean seem to be the holy grail of resolutions. And with the new year nearing, it begs the question, what is an obtainable New Year’s resolution?

Wrapping up filming an upcoming Netflix movie, actor and comedian Marlon Wayans — who many might recognize from the movie, “White Chicks,” and the NBC series, “Marlon” — likes to soak in the spotlight and the applause from a live crowd.

Famously known for their Grammy Award winning song “Gentle On My Mind,” several No. 1 singles including the 2010 hit, “If I Die Young,” the sibling trio The Band Perry will bring their art of music and performance back to Dubuque.

American Music Award-winner, MTV Music Video Award-winner and Grammy Award-nominated Jewel, who says she found herself through her music, will find herself back in Dubuque on Thursday, Nov. 29, for her holiday tour. Not only will she be performing, but she also is bringing her family to perform alongside her.

Lacing up their shoes, mastering their dunks and running out to “Sweet Georgia Brown,” the Harlem Globetrotters are preparing for their return to Five Flags Center Thursday, April 11. Known for their basketball, theatrics and comedy skills, the Globetrotters also are aiming to bring back new entertainment to amaze the families and kids who attend.

  Cruising off the release of his new EP, “Ridin Roads” and No. 1 Platinum-certified single, “Good Girl,” Billboard Music Award nominee Dustin Lynch will bring his combination of smooth country roots and modern-edge tunes to the Q Casino's Back Waters Stage on Saturday, June 1.
